WHEN BRETHREN HAVE CONFLICTS AND THE HIGH COST OF COLLATERIAL DAMAGE!
Heb 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
Heb 12:15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;
Prov 18:19 A brother offended is harder to be won than a strong city: and their contentions are like the bars of a castle.
Collateral damage is damage that is unintended or incidental to the intended outcome. The phrase is prevalently used as an euphemism for civilian casualties of a military action.
I woke up this morning needing to say something to the ‘Body of Christ”, that’s on my heart and I believe is the mind of God. This is not directed to anyone person or ministry but to the Body of Christ, so please try to hear my heart by the spirit of God.
People are pulling on me all over the world now and my booking are off the chart as we pray and seek God were I should be going, to most help to the body of Christ.
But there is a danger I am discerning on this road of so called “BLOWING UP” a term the young people use for being successful at what you do. That manifests in three major area of ministry life that I see as highly dangerous in ministry leaders and they are:
Offence: When a point leaders, Pastor, Bishop, Apostle’s whoever gets offended with another brethren they draw others into it not realizing the collateral damage it causes not only them but their fellowship and friendships
Bitterness: The spirit of bitterness enters in without them realizing it they begin to preach, think, act and express it because it now in your heart and somehow they haven’t come to the conclusion it needs to dealt with as the word of God says.
Pulling Others Into it: That last of these three is you pull others in expecting them to act and feel about the person your offended with just as you do, and if their carnal they will like some juvenile play ground fight join you under the same spirit of un-forgiveness, bitterness and hatred that has captured you.
I see this stronghold almost everywhere I go to minister and I refuse to participate, I can’t do it because while a point leader is walking in conflict and bitterness the people of God are left wide open to demonic attacks if they are not spiritual enough to realize their leader needs to be healed of the offence that has set this off in their lives.
Once a preacher ask me not to preach at another pastors church because he was upset with them, I told him innocently I had an engagement with them because I met them at his fellowship thinking he would be happy, but what I ran into was his conflict with them that I personally had nothing to do with other then pray they find a resolution in the father over it.
What he said to when I said yes I am going to keep the engagement because the Father whom I serve was sending me to minister to his people and the two preacher’s conflict was not going to stop the father from helping his people.
The offended leader said well if your going to go take them for all you can get because they are givers, Evelyn and I were shocked, speechless and setback to here my brother say and even worse to think I would lower myself to that type of mentality, but that’s the effect bitterness has on the heart .
I hope the father by now has healed the leader’s heart but at that time I could not rely on his judgment to determine where I would preach or not. Is there times that one should not fellowship and listen to a fair warning yes, but it is never to be fueled by un-forgiveness and bitterness.
THE SPIRITUAL COLLATERAL DAMAGE IT CAUSES:
- It causes you to lose connection with spiritual discernment
- You operate in un-forgiveness, bitterness and hatred and can’t see it
- You cause the undiscerning in your fellowship to walk in the same type of heart you operating.
- You forget the Father’s commandment the to forgive, restore, follow peace or make it right with your brother if your offended.
- You can set undiscerning intercessors praying psychic prayers against your own brethren and don’t even know it, I have broke these prayers of many ministry leaders across the country.
- Your preaching becomes contaminated by what’s flowing out of your heart.
- You can get backslidden in your heart and not even realize it
In closing I want to make this clear to everyone I will not and can not afford to allow my life to be a part of these type of conflicts I am afraid the Father will charge me for my actions in situations like this.
The Body of Christ who needs deliverance deserves better then this and when I come in to minister I am their to help build, edify, deliver, give hope, help someone get freedom, tear down the enemies camp, help your vision, and walk in God’s love.
I CAN’T OPERATE LIKE THIS IT GREIVES MY SPIRIT BODY OF CHRIST!
Evelyn and I are trying to live a saved, holy life and can’t afford to let our hearts become, contaminated because it takes so long to recover from it and those we can help will suffe.
There is a part of my faith and pureness I am fighting to keep, no matter how people are pulling on me for ministry or whatever they want and I must gaurd my heart and finish this race in honor and respect for the Fther and his Church.
