Rahab encountered the presence of the Lord and was no longer called a whore but a woman of God. Paul encountered the presence of God and was no longer a church destroyer but a church builder. Jacob encountered the presence of God and changed his name from Deceiver to a Prince. Esther was changed from orphan to Queen. Matthew went from being a tax collector to apostle. David went from being a smelly shepherd to a prophet, priest, and king because he encountered the presence of the Lord.
So the next time you say you’ve been in the presence of God, you’d better be prepared to demonstrate the power of His presence by showing forth His glory in your life. And the first destination for change to take place in your life is in your mind.
Romans 12:2, “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
