When Prophecy Doesn’t Come to Pass

Standing in a line to receive prophecy or even being picked out to receive prophecy is no guarantee that what you were told will come to pass. There are numerous factors surrounding prophecy that many will not tell you because it will interfere with their offerings. First of all, if you have been told something contrary to God’s will for your life, it won’t come to pass. Second, if you are being prophesied to by a false prophet, it won’t come to pass. Third, if you sit back and wait for God to do everything for you, it won’t come to pass. Fourth, if you bait the prophet with your sad look, flattery, money, or any other form of manipulation, it won’t come to pass.

Prophecy has conditions. The prophet or prophetic person must have an ear for God, first of all. They have to tell you exactly what God is saying, nothing added and nothing taken away. Here is something else, a prophet with a shabby faith walk will only prophesy you as far as they can see you, which won’t be very far. If their bills are behind and they don’t know where the money is coming from, how in the world can they have the faith to prophesy to your money? Another thing, if you reject the word, the word won’t manifest for you. God doesn’t force anything, not even a promise He made to you. Either you agree with what He wants to do or you don’t. It couldn’t get any simpler.

This is why most of the books I write and am writing are informational. I have a story to tell and one day maybe I will tell it, but right now, people need to know what is going on in their lives. You have a right to know why the promises of God aren’t being revealed in your life. You have a right to know if you are being lied to. You have a right to know whether someone is pulling your leg. Ignorance will cost you… time and money.

Revelation of the Turtles

Warning: This is going to sound really weird unless you understand prophetic revelation.

Today, I had an experience with three turtles. As I checked my email this morning, there was a news clipping of a turtle with two heads. This afternoon as I was leaving Mom’s house, I saw what I thought was a twig. Once I got up to it, I noticed it was a turtle and by then it was too late, I had already run over it in my truck. I could hear the shell crack and I was mortified. I backed up to see about it (it is never my intention to harm any of God’s creation) and the turtle was nowhere to be found. It had disappeared. Even my son and daughter who were with me helped me look for it. Once I finally returned home, I turned on the television and the first image on the screen was a painted turtle on the side of a building. I knew at that point that something was amiss and I asked my husband what was the spiritual meaning of a turtle.

He and I kicked a few thoughts around and we determined that a turtle represented something slow moving that once detected can also go into hiding. I began asking the Lord what it was He was trying to show me. I knew at that moment that something sinister was trying to hide from me and I asked God to manifest it fully. A few hours later, the ‘turtle’ manifested fully. When it did, I cracked its shell immediately and destroyed it in the spirit. It still did not dawn on me until later what was being revealed until I did my evening studies. The Lord revealed a plot to undermine my ministry, marriage, and other relationships that had been hidden but was moving in slowly. Thank God, that ‘turtle’ is no more.

The Effects of Sowing Seeds of Destruction

Don’t ever find yourself caught in the business of sowing seeds of destruction into anyone’s house, marriage, ministry, business, etc. It doesn’t matter how strongly you may dislike a person or what they may have done to you, leave them alone. The scriptures declare that a curse does not causeless come. In other words, people are not being cursed for nothing. There is a reason why things in their life is contrary to the peace and favor of God. Any of my spiritual sons and daughters will tell you what my motto is, “If I can’t help you, I will leave you alone”. That doesn’t mean we can’t talk, it just means that I have enough common sense to know when my season in your life is up and I won’t force the issue. Let God be God!

When you sow evil seeds into someone’s life, the word of God says this about you, “God is not mocked. For whatsoever a man sows, that shall he reap.” Now I don’t know about you, but I have too many irons in the fire to be reaping a mess because of my nonsense. Ain’t nobody got time for extra stuff. I need God, plain and simple so I don’t play with people nor their stuff.

These are the days when witches are not riding brooms in the moonlight while wearing a long black hat and cloak. No, today they are neatly dressed and holding positions while cursing you under their breath. Jesus said to bless them and pray for those who despitefully misuse us. Therefore I will bless you, keep it Kingdom, and keep it moving because God is on it at all times. One thing my step father told us before he left this world that I will never forget. He said, “Do the right thing.” That I will do, the Lord being my help.

What’s More Important? Your Title or the Work of God Going Forth

Wisdom in Conduct for Women in Ministry

When the Lord first called me to apostolic office, He gave me a strong message. He told me that I would stand in the fullness of apostolic office, but that I would be unmistakably woman.

I would not need to “prove” myself or force anyone to submit to or accept my position. You see, I am confident in whom God has made me. In fact, I am so confident that I do not mind putting my title down if it offends. Does that sound like compromise or wisdom to you?

Let me ask you this though, what matters most here? If someone knows that I am apostle or if God’s people are fed?

Not every culture is ready for women to walk in apostolic office. So what should I do? Force my agenda or fulfill my calling? The Lord told me that there would be times when I would need to drop my title and go “under cover” so to speak. He said that in those times people would be ministered to by an apostle. They would see apostolic anointing in motion.

I would leave having walked, talked and ministered as an apostle… the only thing is… they would never know it. Before He released me into office, He asked me to be willing to pay that price.

I have never looked back since.

The reason for this is that I discovered that my call was not vested in my gender or even my own gifts. My calling is vested in Jesus Christ and that is all that matters. The Word says that if your hand makes your brother stumble to cut it off. However, I see many women trying to “shove that hand” down the proverbial throats of those not ready to accept it.
I Will Let You in on the Secrets I Found

Because I was willing to drop my title, people did not ask me to. Men who did not approve of women teachers respected me enough to listen. However, if you come with your agenda, you will prove nothing more than that your confidence is in your title and not in God.

God is using women in ministry more than ever before. The reason is that society is way more ready to accept it today than before. Not every culture is ready though and we must use wisdom if we want to reach people for Christ. We cannot go around forcing people to accept titles that they do not understand. What we can do though is walk in humility and in so doing walk in power!

If God has called you to the work of the ministry then do all that is in your heart to do. Right now the Church needs mothers more than it ever has before. It needs the likes of Deborah (known as the mother of Israel) who will fight for God’s people.

The Church needs Sarah (another mother of Israel) to birth forth a new generation of believers.

The Church needs Mary – those that will conceive and birth the promises of God into the earth. It needs the Hanna’s and the Rebekah’s who were willing to do what God told them to do!

When you are faithful, you can rest assured that you have your “big daddy” at your back protecting you. – Collete Toach

You have to know who you are and whose you are. Don’t ever let the fact of people rejecting your title cause them to miss the message. Paul said, “I become all things to win some.” You have to make concessions sometimes and go in undercover that Kingdom assignment of the Lord is carried out. If you are a prophet and the people only receive you as Sis. Jane, then Sis. Jane it is. Your title does not make you, it gives you a function. You are more than a function, you are also a person. Go in as Missionary Jane is that is how they receive you, but the bottom line is that by the time you are done ministering that someone hears the Lord Jesus calling them. And if all the angels rejoice over that, who cares what they call you!

Don’t Grieve Holy Spirit

To grieve Holy Spirit is to deny His presence and His power. When He is moving, do you take delight? Do you bask in the ambiance of it or do you sit as a knot on a log?

My husband prayed for someone at the altar yesterday and when he laid his hands on the brother, the power of Holy Spirit hit him so hard that it threw me backwards! I felt the presence of God hit him and it moved me simultaneously.

The power of God is so real and so life changing. Don’t grieve Holy Spirit. When He wants to speak, permit Him. When He wants to deliver, allow Him. When He wants to empower, release Him. And when He corrects you, receive Him.

The person who is Holy Spirit filled will AUTOMATICALLY praise and glorify God. They can’t help it because that is what is alive and burning within them. Let God REALLY have His way and watch what happens!

The Art of Forgiving

Reading “The Art of Forgiving” by Lewis B. Smedes. Here are a few things I’d like to share from what I’ve read.

“It takes one person to forgive.
It takes two to be reunited.

Forgiving happens inside the wounded person.
Reunion happens in a relationship between two people.

We can forgive a person who never says he is sorry.
We cannot be truly reconciled unless he is honestly sorry.

We can forgive even if we do not trust the person who wronged us once to not wrong us again.
Reunion can happen only if we can trust the person who wronged us once not to wrong us again.

Forgiving has no strings attached.
Reunion has several strings attached.

If my life as well as yours we have wronged and have been wronged. We have offended and we have been offended but pity the person who cannot forgive. When you don’t forgive, you injure yourself because within, you are re-living and re-experiencing that pain over and over again. When you see them or hear about them, something within you churns. Something stirs within you and disrupts your peace. You don’t want to talk about them, you don’t want to acknowledge them, and you don’t want a thing to do with them. The pain is real, no one is denying that, but when will you release yourself from the pain of what happened? When will you enjoy your life or will you lead a bitter one? You can’t change what happened but you can change you.

Some very devastating things have happened in my life from childhood until a decade ago when I decided to put a stop to it. From molestation, rape, verbal and physical abuse, abandonment, rejection, and much more, I made a conscious decision to LET IT GO!!! The life I live now in Christ far outweighs the things the enemy has used people to do to me. I laugh, love, and live abundantly because I found a place in God called REST!! I have released my past and the nightmares of it and have moved on. I can pray for those who wounded me and MEAN IT. I can smile and embrace them when I see them and MEAN IT because God delivered me from BITTERNESS.

People often comment on how inspirational and encouraging I am and I have to credit my God. He removed the pain, the guilt, and the stain of yesterday and He has allowed me to enjoy my life to the fullest. I can encourage you because I am encouraged. I can make you laugh because I laugh. I can inspire you because I am inspired. What you see in my character is the fruit of who I am and I think we all need to do ourselves a favor and learn to forgive those who have trespassed against us as we expect God to forgive us for trespassing against Him.

Retain Your Human Keys

When God wants to open a door in your life, He sends a person. This key person is actually a key. They can open doors for you that can open other doors for you. They are God’s door openers and keys for you. Too many people throw away a relationship before they’ve had an opportunity to use the key. Once that key is gone, it is gone. And the doors they could have opened, remains shut until …

Just Do It!

Sometimes the Lord wants to see just how much of a push is in you. When you receive a word that God is going to do a thing, you have to keep in mind the effort that YOU have to put into that thing too. God is not going to do all the work for you. This is why lazy Christians are always pouting and watching everyone else because they expect Jesus to just do it all!!!

Reality Check!!!! (tapping the mic, is this thing on?) You have to grease your elbow, dirty your hands, break a sweat, mess up your do and do!! You have to WORK your craft!!! You want God to bless it, give Him something to bless. He said He is going to do it, but you have to do THE DO!!!
